Welcome to the campaign's website. In our initial campaign announcement, I said the Republican Party should always offer its faithful the option of a limited government candidate consistent with the philosophy of President Reagan. As I have traveled the 10th district there has been great support for this approach.
Since our launch of the campaign last summer I have heard from people living in all parts of the district: in person, by email, by phone and through social websites. Voters in the 10th District want to put an end to big spending and big government as the answer to every policy challenge. They think Congressman Wolf is now part of the problem, not part of the solution.
The comments of one of our campaign’s younger volunteers made a particular impression upon me:
“Unfortunately, I have had to watch as the Republicans have become the party of big government. In my lifetime, I haven't known them to be anything else. I only have the stories that my dad has told me about President Reagan and the way the party used to be.”
This is really a sad commentary on how the party has changed. We offer a limited government candidacy, a clear alternative to Congressman Wolf. We would appreciate your help these coming months in taking the party and our country back in the right direction.
